Wounded Warriors & Gold Star Families of the 82nd Airborne Division
The committee of the 82nd Airborne Division Association Wounded Warrior Fund has made some changes over the past few years. The Committee has grown to meet the needs of troopers with service connected disabilities that were sustained in combat or during a training accident.
We have been assisting our troopers and their families in different ways over the last few years.
We have assisted with:
- Educational needs.
- Housing improvements.
- Travel and lodging for All American Week and to the 82nd Airborne National Convention.
- Donations to the Fisher House at Ft Sam Houston TX, Walter Reed Army Medical Center Wash. DC and our own beloved Womack Army Medical Center NC.
- Assisting Gold Star Families as needed.
